The happy news is that I 'chatted' to Suzee yesterday on FB and am glad to say that things are moving on. She tells me that she thinks she will soon be able to get out and about (although her usual three mile walks might have to wait a bit). After all the horribleness of the past weeks, it was lovely to chat about ordinary things (like whether the fascinator I am going to wear to a wedding next week will suit my hair - serious things) and to reminisce about the last time we met and all the great things we got up to. I pray that there may be many, many more chats like that one to come.

It's times like this when I wish a story was in print form and I could carry it around with me and hopefully get to read. As it is I'm woefully behind on your tale, but determined now to get a nice long session and read it in its entirety.
How great that Sue is recuperating and feeling better. She's battled the enemy long enough, I hope now she'll be able to rest and regain more of herself everyday.

Yes, Sue is, as ever, positive about life and the future, and I hope and pray that there may be some good times ahead for as long as she is given. None of us know how long that may be though; I learnt that after my little scare last summer!

If by that you mean the story, then I have to say, it's been an absolute pleasure both writing it and reading the comments. Of course my RL news about my friend matters to me a great deal too, but that is in the Lord's hands I think.

Will now have to apply myself to getting the boys tangled up in another adventure!

I didn't want to presume. I'm most grateful for your comments, long or short. Have been thinking about the next story this afternoon whilst I do the ironing. It's the sort of task that leaves one's mind free to wander ...
