“Napoleon,” the Russian sighed, “I think this is not about me wanting to spend time alone.  This is about you wanting to spend time with me.  We just spent fifty – odd hours together!”

“Yes, hanging upside down; hardly quality time.  Our bond needs strengthening.”

“Any stronger and we will be the same person.”

'Our bonds need strengthening'... But only those of friendship, eh. THRUSH is good at tightening the bonds that kept them hanging upside down. Illya is so pragmatic.

Definitely friendship, but I think Illya is right; their bonds are powerful.
