The Story Continues... Old Things- A Little Drabble Do Ya

When last we saw our intrepid heroes, Napoleon was rescuing his partner...

Illya dropped his hands to his sides, relieved to be free from the chains.  Napoleon looked around furtively, his instincts telling him that they weren’t out of the woods just yet.

“Illya, did you see any other way out of here besides the passageway we both came through?”

Illya thought that his captor had gone in a different direction when he left, but drugs and a couple of hard knocks might have compromised his ability to observe.

“Perhaps over here, I think...”

Illya pushed on a brick with a smoother surface than the others around it.

“Still the clever Russian.”
