Round Table - Alexander The Greater Affair

This two part episode is one of the true delights of MFU, at least for me.  I especially enjoy the flirtations going back and forth between Tracy and Napoleon, and then Tracy and Illya.  I've taken a couple of stabs at how things might have gone, but I'm not recalling any other stories that revolve around those relationships.

I've posted the above story on my journal, and I'd be interested to know if the dialogue and thoughts portrayed seem in line with your perspective of the episode.  How does this help define the interaction between Solo and Kuryakin where women are concerned? Or does it?

I may be wrong but it seems to me that Illya tends to back off, giving way to Napoleon when it comes to women. It's rare they're competing for the same woman though and I do agree that when she chooses Kuryakin over Solo, Napoleon's ego does become bruised a bit. He's quick to recover though...

We never really see Illya getting upset when it comes to losing out to Napoleon and teething the girl...or am I forgetting anything? Illya is less aggressive (though can be when he wants to) when it comes to the ladies. He's less obvious in his pursuits, and definitely more private I think.

I apologize, I didn't intend to be absent today but other things sort of took my time. It doesn't seem to have ever gotten off the ground :(

I agree with mrua that Illya tends to defer to Napoleon -- if they both meet the girl at the same time. When IK meets the girl first and "establishes" his claim, he can stand up to Napoleon (Birds and Bees and Bow Wow come to mind.)

I think Tracy was the most troublesome for them; they found her attractive and annoying at the same time ;) That last scene with the kiss is just such a great situation for Illya to shrug his shoulders and let her go for the man with the money. Sort of a c'est la vie point of view from the pragmatic Russian.
