I’ve posted another chapter of The Treasure Island Affair. I’d hug my muse if I could.

Way back when the Crossover Challenge was posted, I had the idea to use Arsene Lupin Returns, a light, fun detective film from 1938 which I enjoy. (You can watch the original trailer on YouTube here. The entire film is also out there to stream.)

In this chapter it was finally time to bring in one of the characters from the film (played by Warren William on the left), which was a great reason to rewatch it a few times.

I’m hoping my muse will continue to inspire. (The crossover is not with the Treasure Island novel. I have a hard time with titles, and it’s the best I could do. 😁)

Now seems like a good time to remind everyone that there is a Crossover Challenge on the books, with posting beginning on June 10 at

The challenge is centered around MFU, of course, with a crossover fandom of your choice. All genres are welcome at Uncle du Jour, and we're definitely looking forward to some creative license when it comes to mixing and mingling with folks from another 'verse... or fandom. Whatever floats your boat.
Have fun and join us there. The posting is open ended, so if you aren't ready at the starting gate you can always join in at a later date.

The target date for posting to this challenge is June 10-18, but after those dates entries are still welcome. This is fun stuff after all, and not an assignment.

Although Section VII is the starting point for this challenge, it will be necessary to join
