Twas the Sunday Before Christmas...

One Christmas episode for the series and it was a doozy.  Salvation Army, Russians, UNCLE, sick kids... what were they thinking?  Anyone have a scenario for Christmas that would have made for a more satisfying episode?  How about a story recommendation that sets the perfect mood.
Feel free to post links, original thoughts and any odd comment that comes to mind.  This is the Sunday Before Christmas and the best gift for us is more of the Men from UNCLE.

Actually, I loved the Christmas episode. I found it very special. But then I'm a sentimental sucker and often love things most people don't. ;)

I've never tried writing a Christmas U.N.C.L.E. fic. Offhand, I can't think what I'd write about. Perhaps a case that takes them away for the holiday and they experience Christmas in the process of the case. Hmm. I'll have to think about this.
