What A Turkey - Musings for Writer's Choice
What A Turkey
Way back in 2013 I had the bright idea of a whimsical challenge titled What A Turkey (link above) The premise was a silly story that would have a Thanksgiving theme. My entry is the story linked below...
Napoleon and the Two Turkeys
If anyone is interested, I propose we re-introduce the What A Turkey Challenge as an Impromptu Holiday Event (not to be confused with Holidays of Dubious Origins Writing Event, aka HODOWE).

I love Napoleon's almost exasperated reactions to a second Kuryakin. I doubt we'd be complaining if there were two of them :-)
As for Wild Turkey, I've never had it, but my nephew will happily pay over the odds for a bottle of it.

Kentucky is the only place in the world that makes real bourbon, it's actually a legal and proprietary detail. It was invented here, no doubt with memories of Scotch whiskey in place, by a Baptist minister. One of life's great pleasures is a real bourbon ball, a chocolate confection with a splash of bourbon in the middle. It is a fine Kentucky tradition.
