If anyone is interested, I propose we re-introduce the What A Turkey Challenge as an Impromptu Holiday Event (not to be confused with Holidays of Dubious Origins Writing Event, aka HODOWE).

As for Wild Turkey, I've never had it, but my nephew will happily pay over the odds for a bottle of it.

Date: 2016-11-21 02:01 pm (UTC)Kentucky is the only place in the world that makes real bourbon, it's actually a legal and proprietary detail. It was invented here, no doubt with memories of Scotch whiskey in place, by a Baptist minister. One of life's great pleasures is a real bourbon ball, a chocolate confection with a splash of bourbon in the middle. It is a fine Kentucky tradition.
