Coming In From The Cold...
It's cold here where I live, and I know it is elsewhere as well. Even Southern California has had a cold snap according to some friends. Of course that means they tipped into the 50's overnight probably ;)
Here on Section VII we're seeing lots of story recs and Christmas themed challenge stories, always a warm spot for us as we head into the Big Day. Life still happens though, things come up, go wrong and even turn tragically to loss and sorrow. I hope everyone is able to get through the month without the blues that sometimes accompany the holiday season, and pray that if something does come up that creates sadness or is a sudden life altering situation, that grace will cover you and love will be a salve over the wounds.
We're just here to write and read about MFU, but in our real time lives we care what's going on. This is a splendid community with wonderful people, and I for one (and I suspect everyone else feels the same), want the best for all of us. When the best gets sidetracked, we'll all pitch in and offer as much comfort as possible.
This is a place where I hope everyone feels safe and accepted, and in spite of guidelines for writing, we can all go outside the lines when it comes to being a listening ear or a helping hand; virtually or literally. We love the comraderie and message of UNCLE, and my hope is that we can all reflect that here.
All of you make this community what it is, so once again I say Thank You.
