This was an entry for the initial run of Quote Me Challenges, in 2013.  I want to point out to my angst-centric cousins that there's a bit of it here, hand in hand with the h/c we like with our morning coffee.  I also found this really wonderful photo on Facebook, courtesy of the UNCLE Agents group there.  I added the sepia tones to aid the ambiance of all the angst that's on its way...

Mentions of torture, so tread with caution, but it’s dealing with the aftermath. Meant to take place early in the partnership. And the dungeon saltires described in this drabble were largely inspired by those in the Shadow Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
