In keeping with my spooky Ocotober theme I'm reposting this story that was written for Terristillis for last year's Halloween challenge.

Summary: Napoleon and Illya find themselves lost in an anceint forest where they have a strange encounter.

They’d finally stopped running, having gone deeper into the Białowieża Forest than they’d hoped to, but their pursuers had been relentless. Finally losing the armed men, the two fugitive U.N.C.L.E. agents sought to rest on the edge of a small clearing in the middle of the dark primevil forest.

His flashlight in hand, with the lights turned low; he told them a ghostly tale in keeping with the holiday.
