I had this idea, you see...

Sometime last year I considered opening a new community.  For whatever reason, it never developed and I just let it sort of percolate in the back of my mind.
But this is a new year, and new things seem to be cropping up in different directions.  I for one don't want to fail to follow the muse, or the path or whatever we need to call our wandering proclivities.
What this is, I hope, is a nice place to carry on a conversation about MFU, the episodes and the men who make it memorable.
Admittedly, and as most who have been kind enough to read any of my stories know, the thing I love is mission related, gen fiction.  I love the series the way it looked to me when I was a kid.   You know, the way it made me fall for the Russian, or that made you giddy over Napoleon.
I'm not inviting my flist in a rush to fill the place, but if you're interested in the kind of propaganda that promotes World Peace through Handsome Intervention, then I hope you'll stop in and visit here.  I can't think of a better form of PR.
Glenna

Awesome icon, Cat! And don't worry, the MFU you remember has never been lost. Like the readers in Farenheit 451, we carry those memories with us wherever we go. Rock on.

Thank you, Avery, and your "Bow-Wow" icon is totally adorable!

Like Glenna, I feel like a 10-year-old kid here for some reason, which is a good thing in my case as the long-term memory is better than the short-term memory!

By the way, many thanks again for the PMs the other day. ((Hugs!))
