Winds of change, maybe - A Poll

Section VII has been up and running for over two years now, something that makes me both grateful and just a little proud.  Especially proud of the terrific writers who have contributed to the success of a gen writing community that some said would fail.  I'm so happy that both writers and readers alike made sure that didn't happen.  Thank you.
Now it seems like we might want to add or subtract in the area of challenges and events that go on here.  The poll is for everyone, whether you're a regular visitor or not; all input is valuable in some way.

[Poll #1968070]

Good poll!

While I can't promise that such a change would mean that I would be able to contribute more often, I really liked it when the picfic prompt was revealed and writers had a week to submit it.

Thank for letting me know. It seems the poll is showing that time is an issue for a fair amount of people. So at your suggestion I think I'll be putting the PicFic back to a week turnover. I agree it does make it easier to particiapate. Having lots of time on my hands the current 24 hour turnouver is no big deal for me.

You may not believe this but I select the photo for picfic on Sunday...so I really don't have much more adance notice before I post it. I start writing on Monday, just like everyone else just to be fair... sometimes I'm up too late doing it . lol~

I've been way behind on my fanfic reading and everything else in my life. So it is me, not Section VII.

I have a tough time keeping up reading...and answering emails and pms too. I know how you feel. As much time as I have on my hands, sometimes it feels like it's not enough.

I agree with comments above about time limits on writing. One day is impossible for me - I need extended thinking time! I am also one of the 'will try harder to review' brigade I'm afraid, which is silly as I love getting reviews!

I will try to be as encouraging as possible!

Life is busy these days. I haven't read any new fiction--other than the Christmas and Easter Egg Challenges--in ages. Not a lot of time to write, either.
