Welcome to the first prompts of 2015. New Year is traditionally a time we make promises to ourselves. I've already broken mine, including the one about having a story ready to be published when it's due. I'm still working on today's submission. Maybe those of you who haven't joined the Short Affair challenge yet could make it your resolution to do at least one. I'd love to see more of you :-)

As always the prompts and rules are under the cut.

-Prompt Word #1 - Inconformity

-Prompt Word #2 – Outside

-Prompt Colour – Purple

-Due Date - 12th January 2015

Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – MUST be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het.
