HODOWE: United Nations Day Challenge Guidelines
Almost forgot to post this!
Here are the guidelines for the next HODOWE challenge.
CHALLENGE: Write an MFU fanfic story regarding the ideas embodied in United Nations Day. The story doesn't have to necessarily mention or include the day by name; just embody a scenario that fits the concept behind it. Remember though, United Nations Day didn't become an international holiday until 1971, though it was celebrated sort of "ad hoc" right from 1947. General ideas here: (1) cooperation between nations; (2) national celebrations of achievement of individual peacekeeping goals; (3) the contents of the various proclamations by U.S. Presidents on this day (has happened every year since 1946); and (4) international schools make a point of celebrating the diversity of their student bodies on this day through cultural performances and food fairs (hmmm... wouldn't Illya just love those?).
STATISTICAL STUFF: Minimum of 500 words with no set maximum. Must fit into the overall concepts of this community, i.e., contain no explicit adult material and reflect the 1960s series in style and content.
POSTING: To this forum (and on fanfiction dot net), starting on October 21st and ending on October 27th.
