'Short Affair' PROMPTS for May 4th

2.2.jpg

Good Morning cousins!

It's Monday again, so you know what that means. It's prompt day for the 'Short Affair' challenge. It's also posting day for fics written around the prompts from last week. There is still plenty of time to write something for today, and you'll find the necessary prompts right here.

As always, you'll find the prompts and rules for next week's challenge beneath the cut. I like the words fate has thrown us next week. They're almost tailor made for an MFU fic.

Also, don't forget, you can now post het stories in the Map Room (There's a link to it over there, in the side column). Just remember to post a link to it in Section VII.

Have fun.

-Prompt Word #1 - Seek

-Prompt Word #2 – Hoist

-Prompt Colour – Gold

-Due Date - 4th May 2015

Challenge Rules

-Your story should be built around ONE of the prompt words plus the colour. I.E.- Word #1/Colour or Word #2/Colour

-Word Count – must be between 300 and 1000.

-All stories should be headed with ‘Short Affair’ Challenge, the due date and your title.

-Please state at the top of your post which prompt combination you are using.

-Tags - please use short_affair, gen or gen-mature.

-Section VII is a Gen community, so stories should be appropriate, i.e. nothing explicit or overly-graphic. However, there is the Gen-Mature tag for anything containing violence, torture or mild Het. The Map Room should be used for Het stories, but again, nothing overly graphic.

-Also, as a courtesy to others, please use the LJ Cut, so as not to take up all the room on someone’s feed.

40 0hhhhh you won't be a wee babby any more. I can barely remember when I turned 40...lol. I'm actually old enough to be your mum, wow. Not that it matters, people of any age can be friends...and distant relatives. :D

Hey my favorite motto is "It's never too late to have a happy childhood." I may be 60 but I still think I'm in my twenties...the only time I'm reminded of that is when I can't physically do something I did way back when, but then again before I had my stroke I was in really good shape and pretty agile.

Age is just a number.

An I'm pretty much convinced to about that connection too! :D
