Looking for Feedback...

I had an idea.  I know, it's newsworthy and something to share with everyone.  Here it is:
What about an MFU Crossover Challenge for all genres, any other fandom of your choice sharing space with our guys, Solo and Kuryakin.  What do you think?
This is something that will have a longer timeframe for completion, say two to three months, and can include illustrations and artwork, photo manips, etc... in order to better portray the story and characters.  We would be posting in [livejournal.com profile] uncle_du_jour since it is an all genre event.  I know we have writers who are active in other fandoms, and this is an opportunity to let some different characters play in our yard, so to speak.  It also gives us the opportunity to share an event with those who write in other genres of MFU.  I suppose we would also want to include the movie version, just to be fair you know.
So again, I ask you for an opinion on this idea.  If there's enough interest then we'll go forward with it.

So being in UdJ it would be open to slash/pre-slash as well? When is the anniversary for Section VII? Maybe it could coincide with that?

Actually I was already throwing this idea around with Sherlock. But I thought about including Jo/Napoleon, Illya and Sherlock/John. I didn't think this would be acceptable in S7. any ideas?

Actually I just started to come up with the basic idea and some of what would happen. So it won't be for a while. So if you go that way I would enjoy submitting it for that

To this reader, it sounds good.

Ooh, I love this! I'd started an MFU/Classic Doctor Who crossover that I put on hold, so a crossover challenge would definitely bring my muse out for the idea again!

Crossovers are my favorite type of stories (if well done, of course), so my vote is Yes. Plus, I have a tiny MFU-NCIS crossover I'd love to share.

Yes, I'd be interested. I've had a few crossover ideas lately, though they're a bit obscure. They tend to fall into the classic movie / British mystery categories.

I actually wrote a Man From UNCLE/Labyrinth Crossover that's posted elsewhere, would that be okay too or does it need to be new? ^.^
