Ha! Brilliant! Although, I strongly suspect Illya of misunderstand deliberately, just to annoy Napoleon.


(I follow a page on Facebook called 'Have Fun With Russian' and they occasionally have a Russian Idiom post. They are just as baffling as English ones. Last week they had 'Без за́дних ног [bez zad-nikh nog]. which literally translates as 'without back legs'. It turns out that it means 'to be dead tired' or 'sleep like a log')
