PicFic Tuesday Challenge photo prompt for July 16th

It's Monday again? These weeks just seem to fly by don't they.  Why were the summers endless when we were children, and fly by so fast as adults?

For those of you new to the challenge, post your Gen fics on Section VII, Tuesday July 16th.  Please make your story longer than a drabbles (we post drabbles on Wednesdays here)  Include in your header, the title of your story as well as the phrase 'for the Picfic Tuesday Challenge and the date due. Cut and past the prompt and include it with your fic. Use the tag PicFic.

If for some reason you can't make tomorrows deadline, then post your PicFic the following Tuesday and don't forget to include all the information in your header etc.

This prompt is a little self-gratuitous. Some of you know what's in the picture is near and dear to my heart as it's something that I acquired recently.  Hope you come up with some interesting tales!  Looking forward to your stories.
