Update on Challenges for September...

PicFic is setting the pace here this month with our Special Edition 50th Anniversary PicFic Challenge.  Since several of us are also engaged in writing for the 50th Anniversary Mini-Bang (some of us are writing very slowly), some extra time is being awarded in the form of not posting new prompts for Song Story or What's My Line? over the next two weeks.
What anyone is welcome to do, however, is choose a prompt that you might have missed out on and post a story (or stories) based on those prompts.  By all means, keep writing!  A Little Drabble Do Ya will post as scheduled, and Writer's Choice as well.  If you're reading this lindafishes8, you're welcome to revise the calendar or just add notifications on Mondays.  Sorry I didn't think of this sooner...
Okay then, Big PicFic for the Anniversary, and make-ups on Song Story and What's My Line? for two weeks.
I think I've got it right, I'll let you know if there are any more urgent updates, but consider the benefits of a little break in the action.

Thank you for the extra time. I want to write something for the PicFic, but am feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment, timewise.

I am in the same boat, not finished with my mini bang or the artwork for two other writers' stories. I'll make it, but nothing else will get done and I figure other people are struggling with the same time issues.
Add a little RL to the mix and you might as well shoot me with a sleep dart.

I know the feeling and a brief respite is welcome and needed. There's so much other writing to be done elsewhere this month! Yikes. Hope you can write of the PicFic? Looking forward to it.

You didn't mention the Mood-Y: Special Anniversary Challenge, Glenna, which opens for posting on 9/13.
