Saturday is here...so that means WRITER'S CHOICE!

0078887747

Time to dig through your Man from U.N.C.L.E.fanfiction and pick a story for the Writer's Choice! Tell us a bit about it, and why you like it please? If not one of yours, then tell us of a story by one of your favorite MFU writers!  Don't forget to provide a link, and remember this is a gen site, so appropriate links please.

Stories recommended for the Writer's Choice always get a nice response as the writers let us know if their stats are up...and they always are. So if the fics are one's you've read or are a first time read, take a second to leave a comment for the author if you can. They're always appreciated and comments can sometimes help a writer be inspired to keep writing, or start writing again!

Do you, like me, fan Hoff, as well? I even like the second book, as long as I remeber it's in a very different key.

Winter is sitting on the roof, refusing to come down.

Sorry to be unclear. I meant Benjamin Hoff's The Tao of Pooh, and its sequel The Te of Piglet.

And then there's Frederick C. Crews' The Pooh Perplex..? Delightful short satires, your fellows at uni were probably growling over that one's sequel, which to me was too true to be funny.

My father gave me the Narnia series, too.

Generally when I go to a library, I feel a bit *under*whelmed. The modern stuff is so standardised.

Good luck with the reorganisation. It's an unfinishable job, but you come across so many treasures on the way. A neighbour's trying to do a bit of winnowing. The books don't lessen, but she's certainly enjoying the attempt.
