Special Edition PicFic Challenge for the MFU 50th Anniversary Celebration~ Prompt # 2

This is going to be a two-part challenge. (similar to the multi-part Christmas PicFic run 2 years ago on Section VII).

So here’s how it works:

Prompt # 1 wlll post on Monday September 1st

Prompt # 2 will post on Monday September 8th

Your story is due to be posted Tuesday September 16th on Section VII.

So that means you have 2 weeks to write your PicFic. It can be a single story based on the two prompts or broken into two chapters based on the prompts, which ever you prefer.

Now here’s the catch: Your story must have something to do with “50”.  It can be whatever you like as long as the number is used somewhere in there.

Statistical: Minimum 1000 words

Genre: Gen or Gen-Mature

Please format this way:

STORY NAME:  PicFic MFU:50~ Title of the story

GENRE: Gen or Gen-Mature

WORD COUNT: approximate

RATING:  i.e. Everyone, Teen, or Adult

WARNINGS: Please make note of Strong Language, mild het, Graphic Violence, etc. or if the story is AU (alternate universe)

TAGS: Gen, or Gen-Mature, MFU:50

Not sure what the medium is, though it could actually be acrylic, or pastel. Not watercolor though. Your quote is awesome in referencing the pic.

It's going to b down to the wire with this story. I have some fleeting thoughts on it but nothing is coalescing into anything usuable.
