After a great week of successful postings for the Writer's Choice: 7 Days of Halloween, it's time to get back to basics. Writer's Choice gives writers an opportunity to post links to their stories so that readers can enjoy them again or for the first time. Yes, it's self-promotion but nothing wrong with that as it allows people to read some great stories they might have missed!

There is snow today in Columbia, South Carolina! And it was 42 degrees in Hilton Head when I woke up this morning. Oatmeal weather, yum!

Yes I saw on the weather channel this am. the It was in the 30's here yesterday. I set up the cat cubbie last night, all freshly taped, a washed blanket and a plexiglass over hang to block the rain. The Main Coon cat was in it this morning, and the Siamese was in the cat bed my neighbor has by her door. Put some food out, but they opted to stay snug...smart cats.

Thanks! I figured if I was chilly, they were going to feel it worse being outdoors. So wish I could adopt the two of them! sigh...

The snow will bypass us but we are expecting a hard freeze, temps in the low 20's... I may have to wear some socks to bed.

LOL! I slept in fleece jimmies with 1 blankets (and 2 cats) last night. Today I'm still in my jambes, wearing my heavy terrycloth robe and slipper sox. Brrr, and it's not really that cold yet. I suppose the dampness is making it feel worse than it is.
