It doesn’t seem a week since I was offering you the first set of prompts for this new challenge. Hopefully some of you will have written something for today’s post. I know of at least one other person who has, so I won’t be alone in this

A Deadly Beauty - 'Short Affair' Challenge - 13th october

Prompts – Glamour/Sky Blue
Word Count (approx.) - 940

From the second the woman stepped into the room, all eyes were on her, and she knew it. Her silky blonde hair was arranged in an elegant, yet effortless, style and her jewellery was tasteful and understated. What really drew the eye, however, was the figure hugging, floor length gown. The sky blue, sequined fabric perfectly matched her pale eyes, and shimmered as she moved. She slowly glided down the stairs; allowing everyone to appreciate the view.

Two sets of eyes watched a little more closely than the others. Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, dressed in identical tuxedos, stood at the far end of the ballroom.

A friendly nudge from the housekeeping-mad maintainer

Hey folks,

Just a friendly nudge here. Please do not use the section vii tag on your stories. They are all posted on this site; so no need for that tag on them. The section vii tag really is something that should be saved for administrative-type posts, like the calendar, challenge prompts, challenge guidelines or some other type of admin announcement.

I admit to being an electronic housekeeping freak (computer programmer, so go figure [chuckle]). Over-utilized tags become just as useless as under-utilized ones. So please realize that a story posted on [livejournal.com profile] section7mfu is that by default and therefore has no need to be tagged thus.

2015 Seasonal Challenge Poll is closed

I have closed the 2015 Seasonal Challenge Poll.

Response was sparse, but still the overall winner was a combo of HODOWE -- 3 challenges, and LIFECYCLE -- 3 challenges.

So that's what I'll be doing next year.

You can view the results of the poll here.

By the by, Marian, there is indeed currently a strange glitch on LJ where tags are not showing in correct alphabetical order. Weird. The tags are all still there though, just not in correct sequence.
