Short Affair PROMPTS for April 6th

Is it the end of March already? Spring is starting spring, but I think it will be a few more weeks before we can safely say that winter is definitely over. Why not celebrate the imminent warmer weather by penning a short piece about our favourite UNCLE.

You’ll find the prompts and rules beneath the cut.

Have fun.

Illya Kuryakin was no stranger to bigotry, though at U.N.C.L.E. it wasn’t supposed to exist; still it did. There were people who simply did not like a self-admitted member of the Communist Party working among them, or holding a position of authority for that matter.

Prompts – Reprisal/Silver
Word Count (approx.) – 725

Illya Kuryakin didn’t need to open his eyes to know he was still a guest of THRUSH; the cold floor beneath him was testament enough. He bit back a cry as his battered body protested his attempt to roll over. Two days of ‘questioning’ had left him bloodied and broken, and he was in no doubt there was more to come. He decided to just lay still and wait for the next session. After a couple of minutes, a soft rasping sound gained his attention. Opening his eyes, Illya was greeted by the sight of a woman outside his cell, filing her nails.

Illya and Rebecca led the way up the ornate staircase and onto the north wing landing, ready and eager to solve the riddle of the mystery room.

"The Blue Room is the last one, well, it has been for as long as I can remember anyway," Gramps commented.

They passed the first three rooms and came to the final door. The party of five all looked at each other as Grams's hand rested on the door handle.
