Thank you! Yeah this one required a bit of research though I grew up in a home where my mom was fascinated by anything Oriental. I grew up with shoji screens, Japanese money trees, lots of silk embroidies, and statues, omg lots of Buddhas! It's even spilled into my home now as I have lots of geisha figurines and some samurai, some buddhas and a dragon or two.
My cousin is driving up from Florida and will be bringing a box full of things of my mom's that my brother has packed up for me. More geisha dolls and kabuki masks among other things. Eeek, am I becoming my mother? LOL.
I think I'm a bit more eclectic in my collecting as the geishas and Buddhas are juxtaposed against the Grandfather christmas, the snow maiden, matryoshka dolls and pysanky eggs.
And PS, you'll figure out how to work in that prompt. Sometimes mentioning it incidentally works, and not having it be intrinsic to the story.
