Rec #2, but honestly, it is my very favorite... well, one of my most favorite early partnership/pre-partnership stories.  Vicki introduces us to a recurring character in her stories, Paul Matthews; the incorrible Aussie does everything in his power to make the Russian miserable.  He is a charmer though, in spite of the animosity.  See Solo and Kuryakin face off for the first time while fending for their careers.

This is an excellent first encounter story. All of Vicki's stories are very good, but I like this one best.
