We Interrupt This Comm For A Photo Mystery...

I posted some Ducky photos on mfu_scrapbook and a couple of people are unable to view them.  I thought I'd try them here and see if it's any better.  It's weird when some people have the visual and others don't.  Let me know...
I suppose someone could take these as a prompt and do a little impromptu story based on the guys being older... just a thought.

I had no trouble seeing the on Scrapbook and here wither. They're two rather large/shadowy Ducily pics. that look almost identical.

I can't see them either on the tablet or the laptop. If it helps I'm in the UK so probably on a different server.

Looks like it might be a matter of whether you have the photos set to be viewable by everyone, or friends-only.

Really? I don't set anything on scrapbook, so don't know why it would block anyone there. I'll check things here, just to be sure. She said she could see another photo I posted... grrrr...

Oh dear Sam I AM, I cannot see them with the phone, I cannot see them here at home. I cannot see them with my iPad which is making me so very sad. I cannot see them with my laptop nor either with my desktop. This really is unsatisfactory as I want to see pics that make my heart stop. (apologies to Dr. Seuss)

Thanks for trying an alternative way to post, sigh, it just didn't work for me. I use Mac operating systems and IOS. I wonder if that is the problem.

Hm. Well, it's definitely being blocked by LJ; the "Access is closed!" message is an LJ error page. I wonder whether there's another layer of security that's kicking in somewhere, besides the setting for the individual images. Might be worth asking LJ about, though I don't know how good their user support is (never tried it). I've never stored images on LJ, so haven't messed around with the settings or that.

I did change my security level to 'public', although I wouldn't have thought that affects other journals. Thanks for trying to solve the riddle.

I've changed the security level on my journal, which I'm guessing includes the scrapbook from this picture came. Try it again. I'm on a Mac as well, so that isn't it.
