The aftermath of an affair in the Appalachian Mountains had left two UNCLE agents in need of care.  Fortunately the 'innocent' was a doctor providing services for the people of the region..

"Here, drink this.  You're not well yet Mr. Solo."  Napoleon turned up his nose at the strange aroma, something slightly fruity but infused with the unfamiliar.

"What is this?"  She smiled, his was a typical response.

"Apple cider and some herbs.  I've learned a few things myself while living here."

"Ah, the wisdom of the mountains', Illya was familiar with folksy cures.

"Just drink it Napoleon."

Bottoms up.

Good one. There's a reason some of these folk remedies are still around. It's because they work.

This was a fun little scene. Even if there's no scientific basis, a lot of those remedys have enough alcohol that you forget your pains anyway. My granny's cure for everything was a hot toddy.

Good one! There's lots of modern medicines that have their basis in folk treatments.
