yep better to be safe than sorry when restoring power where there;s salt water damage. At least you can work, and keep from going stir crazy.
Down here there are areas being patrolled by national guard as there's some looting, break-ins and even attempts at stealing peoples generators.
We're in in for the long haul. The town where I work still is without power...so no work no pay for me... and my paycheck from the college is way overdue.
