Dec. 30th, 2015 01:07 pmYes, we're on a sort of hiatus but I thought I could manage 100 words.

"Are we on for New Years?"
A raised eyebrow meant the Russian had forgotten.
"We're supposed to go out, paint the town...."
The expression changed to one of disapproval.
"I am sorry Napoleon, that was a discussion I did not take seriously. What exactly do you mean by 'paint the town' ?"
New partner, learning curve…
"There's an odd expression about going out for a good time, you paint the town … um, red."
Now the American felt a slight flush. It sounded odd, saying that to UNCLE's resident… red.
"Ah, I see."
"Maybe you don't…"
"It sounds fun. I like Red."

I'm in the middle of writing some Snapshots to post on FF.net. I have 2 more to go and that will make 200 installments. A record for this year, so I'd like to 2015 on a high note, given all the low notes that have played out for me recently.
I'm listening to the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" at the moment. :D
