Would you believe I discovered fanfic in 1972? I was teaching at the time and confiscated a Star Trek zine that was being read under the desk. Thank heavens it didn't contain any slash as I would have had to have taken action and escalated the matter. As it was I returned the zine after I had read it.
After that I had no contact until I gained internet access and found the Blakes7 fandom. That has largely died out or moved on now, so I moved over here.
