section7mfuThere have been a few conversations on the subject of the difference Illya's Russian-ness on the show, and in fic. It put me in mind of a story I wrote called 'Almost Armageddon'. It isn't a long piece (about 1200 words), but mentions the possible consequences when an unknown satellite is launched, causing the Cold War to heat up. Follow the link, and (hopefully) enjoy it.
