The First Drabbles of August - A Little Drabble Do Ya

We're onto the second half of 2016, and as a Beatle once said, "It boggles the mind".  I've been out and about a lot, either for work or driving my cousin's wife to dialysis.  It seems like I'm not home much, and I have the mess to prove it.  My cat still won't walk on the floor, she runs from room to room like her tail's on fire, and she's not scratching.  Now it's just a behavior that she seems reluctant to give up.  I may have to build one of those Cat Walks up near the ceiling.
Anyway, it's Wednesday, it's a day for drabbling about.
