I had to check the Calendar to see what is going on today. I admit that Real Life sometimes swamps my awareness of things here on LJ. Yesterday's comment to

avery11 suggesting she post her first story led to an all out First Story Assault, so thank you all very much. We have so much energy and talent occupying our little community and I continue to be amazed that you've all found yourselves here alongisde the three of us who started up this little venture.

carabele have been with me since the onset, and all of those who have joined and helped build Section VII into a bonafide writing site are MFU fangirls (and a few guys I think) of the highest calibre... and I'm talking heart. We love MFU and we love the men who make it churn with passion, adventure and sometimes humor. So, thank you to everyone.

So, today is supposed to be the Reading Room. I haven't really been keeping up and I think it was on hiatus until now, for a summer break. I was trying to remember the first MFU fanfiction I read, but I can't. Certainly the earliest were on ff.net and then file40. I'm fairly certain that this story was among the first, and remains one that stands out for its intensity, length and attention to detail. You can find it in serveral locations but I'll give you the ff.net. I don't know if she's here on LJ, but feel free to add links and info.
