I wish DMc, RV and TPTB at NCIS (that's some alphbet soup, huh?)would come up with a story where RV was an old friend from Ducky's past, but I have a feeling that won't happen. And that is a shame in my opinion because they are both iconic actors and they are STILL ALIVE AND WORKING. The ratings would go through the roof, I think.
I picture them looking quite fetching for 80 yr olds in bathing shorts. Glad you know they are board shorts; I typed that originally and then changed it as I don't know if that term is common knowledge.
