Writer's (and Reader's) Choice

Though it's rather a Halloween fic, in honour of the au season I'm reccing mrua7 's The End of the World As We Know It . Darker than I normally rec, but not as dark as the title might lead you to believe. Fast action and solid, if somewhat grim, settings and the partners are alive (in both meanings) throughout.

OH wow! Thank you for the rec! This is one of my personal favorites. I think every writer has a story or two that they're particularly proud of. The prompt for this was amazing, as I recall put up by inji.
