Time to Relax - A Little Drabble Do ya! - Feb 22nd

Illya stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. Despite the water dripping from his body, he padded through to the living room and set a jazz record away on the turntable. Returning to the bedroom he dressed, in sweatpants and t-shirt, to the sounds of Ornette Coleman.

He then went to the kitchen and prepared a glass of tea. Usually, Illya made do with the kettle but, as he was going to relax properly, he used his samovar.

With glass in hand, he sank onto the sofa.

Beep beep, beep beep, beep beep.

Duty called.

Thanks for that 'imagery.' My friend Bob has a Samovar so I had a glass of tea prepared with it one time. The we (and some other musicians) relaxed and had a little jam session.

This drabble was lovely, while making a going point of no rest for the weary. Poor Illya.

It wasn't Russian tea, just regular black tea made with the samovar. There's a Russian grocery store somewhere around here, may have to go look for it...just for fun mind you. "D
