The amazing thing about greys are that they do not sound like a parrot mimicking someone but rather they sound just like the person they are mimicking. Greys are also the only parrots (I believe this is true) who are "right footed" (most parrots are left footed) just like a person is right handed etc. This has something to do with the way their brain is "wired". My grey made up his own words (cork nut for almond as an example) and had a devious sense of humor. You found yourself having conversations with him - he knew what he was saying.
