Thank you again! It was a little predictable, but I couldn't resist going this route. I think Illya was more embarrassed than Mr. Waverly about what Einstein said. The "What the deuce?" question cast a momentary doubt as to Waverly's copping on, and hence Illya's hasty retreat with the bird before things escalated.
Glad you enjoyed the story. I'm sure Einstein will show up now and then, just as Wollman the dog, or even Schpion the cat (though she's otherhawk's character)
