Here are two related stories written by our own [livejournal.com profile] rosywonder.  Originally posted for the HODOWE last year, it started as a one shot and was, thankfully, amended with a second installment.  Enjoy!

 And this should have been posted on Wednesday, but... here it is.
~~~~~:
“Napoleon, have you noticed anything odd lately?”
The American looked sideways at his partner.
“Are you serious?  Everything about our lives is odd.”
The blond shook his head, trying to summon the correct way to phrase his observations.
“No, that is not what I meant.  It is just … Some of the women have been staring at me … more than usual.”
Doctor Zhivago.”
“Bohze moi… No wonder they look so starry eyed.”
“Have you seen the movie?  What are you smiling about?”
“Well, it might not hurt to take advantage of this turn in attitude toward Russians.”
“Sneaky Bolshevik.”
Gee whiz, this has loads of potential for our guys. avirra sent this one, so many thanks.  Song Stories can be submitted any time over the weekend, so enjoy yourself as you explore new meaning behind the words.
Songwriters: Nesmith, Michael
You tell me that you've never been this way before.
You tell me things I know that I've heard somewhere.
You're standing in the places and you're
Staring down through faces, that bring to mind traces
Of a girl, a girl that I knew somewhere.
I just can't put my finger on what it is
That says to me "Watch out! Don't believe her."
I can't give any reasons girl,
My thoughts are bound down in a whirl.
I just can't think who in the world was that girl;
I know I met her somewhere.
Someway, somehow this same thing was done.
Someone, somewhere did me this same wrong.
Well, goodbye dear, I just can't take this chance again.
My fingers are still burning from the last time.
And if your love was not a game, I only have myself to blame.
That's as may be, I can't explain.
Just ask the girl that I knew somewhere.
