OMG! It's September?  Time is just flying by.  Happy Labor Day to those of you who celebrate it.  I'm off today, and it's possibly the first Labor Day in over 30+ years that I haven't had to work.  Was actually given the day off.  Wow, makes it a 4 day weekend...I'm in shock.  

The leaves are starting to change already in my part of the world, so hope that doesn't bode ill for the winter season.  Hope that season doesn't arrive too fast this year.

And now without further ado, here is todays PicFic prompt.  If you're not familiar with the rules of the challenge, pm me and I'll explain.  They're not complicated, but after typing them every Monday for what feels like forever, I think most interested parties get the deal.

Under the Heading: Keep It Real

This one addresses the subject of gunshot and knife wounds, and the presence of such in fiction.  We tend to put a bullet in our guys and then let them 'walk it off', or blithely write about all of the scars they have.  Anyone with that much damage would probably be out of the field pretty quickly.  Perhaps we need to rethink this whole scenario.  We're killing our characters and we don't even know it!
So, literary license aside, give it a read.

It's my take on what happened between Napoleon and Mara after the conclusion of the series Season 2 episode THE NOWHERE AFFAIR.
