Stories for the PicFic Challenge are due by midnight April 21st. If for some reason you can't finish yours it in time for tomorrow, you can post your fic the following Tuesday. Just remember to follow all the statistical requirements listed below.

Statistical stuff: Minimum 500 words (no drabbles) with no set maximum. Subject matter should fit into the General concepts of this community, i.e. contain nothing explicit and reflect the 1960s series in style and content. However, there is a Gen-Mature option - use this tag to indicate a story that contains scenes of violence, torture, angst or very mild het. (again nothing graphic or explicit)

Include in your subject header the phrase "For the Picfic Tuesday Challenge", the due date, and of course the title of your story! Remember to use the tag Picfic.

Here's your weekly prompt!

Hope you have a blast writing your story... looking forward to reading them!

Note: please remember to use the image manager to keep your repost of the prompt a resonable size as the original is quite large...thanks!)

By request from so many of you, I'm continuing this story started in the original 'Snapshot."  Please be patient as it's a WIP...don't like doing them, but the story is a bit complicated the way it's unfolding in my mind, an is turing into a bit of a future fic. (don't worry no major character deaths) And I promise the story will be finished as quickly as possible. I'll try to post another chapter later this week. Special thanks again to Lindafishes8 for the original prompt...a post about the lunar eclispe last week.

It was in the wee hours of the morning when Napoleon and Illya finished up their verbal report with Alexander Waverly. Both of them were dog tired and were now walking together in the nearly empty grey corridors of their home away from home. GW345H352

It was a strange sensation, seeing only a few Communications specialists coming and going or housekeeping services cleaning the floors with their electronic floor polishers.

It was rare this pair of agents were at headquarters this time of the morning, unless one or both of them worked a late shift, manning Security or Communications stations, generally that meant it was a holiday and the Russian was generously covering for someone else.

Solo, being the Chief Enforcement Agent, was exempt from such duty but like his partner, he volunteered for it from time to time.

“Hey did you see that eclipse this morning tovarisch?” Solo yawned.” I’ve never seen the moon that color before. I swear it looked blood red...very eerie.”
