Wednesday is all about April Dancer!

Now back to April. She's become a much more competent and interesting agent thanks to fan fiction!
Mark Slate is generally along for the ride as well and given we lost our favorite British U.N.C.L.E. agent Noel Harrison this past October...these fics are a nice homage to the memory of his character.
So come on, think pink and post some April stories!


The day was dreary and filled mist until the sky opened up, sending rain down in torrents with a vengeance.
At least the last of the snow was finally over and done with, that in and of itself was a relief. March had been a dreadful month for the weather and especially so since none of April Dancer’s assignments had taken her to any locations that were sunny and warm.
The auburn haired agent clutched the collar of her bright yellow slicker, though she was wearing a matching rain hat; she lowered down her vinyl dome umbrella that was a perfect accessory to her attire, offering her better protection over her head and shoulders from the downpour. 
It gave another kind of protection as well, and that was of being able to see anyone who would pose a danger to her while on her little stroll. Her new apartment wasn’t that far from headquarters...she could have gotten a taxi, but the mid-westerner in her urged her to tough it out. Besides, walking helped keep her legs in shape...

Illya and April managed to get together for dinner and a movie the following Thursday night. The Russian was glad of it because he and Napoleon were flying to Istanbul the next night on an affair they guesstimated would have them out of the country for at least a week. After the film, they walked back to his place where Illya prepared them both a cup of tea.
