We're continuing on with featuring stories written by those who participated in the Gen Round Robin on mfuwss Today's story is by avirra and is a fairly recent entry from earlier this summer.  It is a stunning piece however, and well worth a second look.  Personally I'm hoping she expands this one and gives us more of this intriguing tale.

They walked in tandem along the dimly lit city streets; two men, one dark-haired and the other a blond. Their eyes darted in every direction, their ears listened for every sound.

There was a clatter of something falling to the ground...

Reacting at the same time, they pulled their weapons from their shoulder holsters and paused near the entrance to an alleyway.
