We're moving into the oogie boogie season, so let's just go all creepy and scary... or not.  Do as you wish, but the line for next week's stories is... and please forgive my language ;)

There were times they seemed to be running ragged, heading out on assignment after assignment. If it wasn’t lasers in outer space, it was stolen nuclear bombs, doomsday machines, poison gas, mind controlling drugs, coups, invasions, assassinations….when did it ever stop?

Napoleon Solo, was tired, dog tired as he leaned against a wall outside a toilet in the back of dingy bar waiting for his partner to emerge.

Okay, since we seem to be agreed on this Pockets for Svetlanacat project, I thought I'd list a few ideas and resources for those who might be craft challenged ;)
I'm using Amazon.com simply because they have everything and it at least lets your see what the product is.

Iron-On Transfer Paper
Crayola Fabric Markers
Embroidery Thread

If you're thinking of quilting something onto the pocket, consider using felt rather than batting so that it doesn't become too bulky.  You can also applique onto the pocket, apply lace and other types of trim.  Buttons and even badges that have a message you wish to share.
Ribbons can be sewn or glued onto the pocket, and if you decide to go the transfer route, you can copy anything onto that paper and then iron your design or illustration, photograph... whatever it is... onto the pocket.
If you have any questions about the How To of this project, I think [livejournal.com profile] spikesgirl58 is onboard to answer as well as myself.  PM me and I'll try to help you figure it out.

If you think you're going to participate in this, please indicate here by simply hitting the YES button, and we'll get a basic idea of where the final project is heading.

It was impossible for him not to wince as he was shoved out into the courtyard facing the rising sun. He hadn't seen the sun or any light much brighter than a candle for several days. His once tailored suit was a shambles, but he didn't acknowledge his own appearance. He even managed to ignore the blood trickling down from his nose. He couldn't have wiped it away with his hands bound behind him any way, so why acknowledge it?

Prompt – Save the World by George Harrison

“It’s just so boring,” a frustrated voice came from the locker room Napoleon and Illya were approaching. “I’ve been Section 2 for six months now and I still haven’t seen any proper action.”

The senior agents stopped to listen. It was a conversation they’d overheard many times before over the years.

“I’m with you,” agreed a second voice. “With all these courier runs I feel more like a glorified mailman than an U.N.C.L.E. agent.”
