Is it Monday again already? Woken up this morning to a cold, dark, wet, and windy November day. It's the perfect weather for snuggling up with our agents.

The words the fates have provided this week are perfect fodder for an U.N.C.L.E. tale, so you should have no problem coming up with something, (says the woman who writes almost everything at the last minute). As always, the prompts and rules are beneath the cut.

Happy writing :-)

Napoleon Solo wasn't one for funerals, and this one was the hardest one he’d have to attend thus far in his career in the world of espionage.

No one wanted to believe it when it happened. Mark Slate was supposed to live, he was supposed to make it to the age of forty and his retirement from the field.

The irony of it was that he was not brought down by T.H.R.U.S.H. or some enemy agent...no, the ever friendly Brit was struck down by a taxi in the middle of Trafalgar Square.

Madeleine Pullman had worked for U.N.C.L.E. for almost thirty years. In that time she’d gone from being a junior file clerk to Head of Communications. Her long service with such a covert organisation meant she was highly attuned to things which seemed off-kilter. While in the ladies washroom, she overheard something which may have sounded innocuous to most people, but it set alarm bells ringing for her. As she headed back towards her office, Madeleine changed her mind; she had to tell someone of her suspicions.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Glenna's Aunt Margarget passed away this morning after a prolonged illness. She just returned home from rehab in a nursing home on Saturday after having been in the hospital for a few weeks.  She would have been 87 in three days.  Glenna had been taking care of her Aunt ever since she moved back to Kentucky. This is part of the reason why we haven't seen her here that much on Section VII as of late.

She's handling things well, as this wasn't unexpected but she's very very tired.  The funeral is set for Wednesday morning.  So if you could send Glenna some good vibes and prayers to bolster her as she's going to have a lot to do over the next few weeks.
