There was a time when the wisdom of our elders was passed on to the younger generation, (though today I think such experiences are slowly disappearing as the older generation catches up with modern technology.)  This fic is part of my 'Illya series' and finds a young Kuryakin learning from his Babushka.

I offer you two stories by Mattmetzger. I don't know who they are but their story 'Signs', and its follow-up/companion piece 'Siberian Winters', are extremely good. Illya is hurt and cold. napoleon needs a sign he'll be okay.
