Napoleon sat, feeling uncomfortable, fidgeting as he glanced over at the pair of blue eyes that watched him.

He stared back but nothing seemed to break the concentration behind those eyes, wide and unrelenting.

Solo, blinked, turning away, realizing he’d surrendered by doing so.

Blue eyes continued their mission.

“What do you want?” He moaned.

Finally the eyes blinked but didn’t turn away.

“Napoleon pay closer attention. The answer is at your feet,” Illya finally said.

“Sorry tovarisch, I just don’t speak cat.”

“See the toy mouse? She just wants to play.”

“I don’t do cat.”

“Your loss my friend.”

"Napoleon! Napoleon, are you hit?"

The communicator relayed the Russian's concern for the American. Solo was only recently teamed with Illya Kuryakin, losing him would certainly raise suspicions among some in the Command.

"Solo, are you hit?"

"No, but you would be if I were a THRUSH agent."

Kuryakin turned slowly to see his partner pointing a gun at him.

"You are not a THRUSH agent, are you?"

Raised eyebrows indicated the slightest concern that his life might actually be in danger.

Napoleon returned the gun to its holster.

"No, but he was."

Illya saw the body.

"Spacibo."

"You're welcome."

Napoleon held out a huge bouquet of flowers and an enormous box of chocolates. The ladies of the typing pool looked into the eyes of the CEA and, as one, shook their heads.

“When you start doing your own paperwork, we’ll think about resuming your social life.” Julia told him.

“I can’t believe this,” Solo replied, exasperated. “Is this Illya’s doing?”

“No,” she told him. “We’ve just decided amongst us that Mr Kuryakin has enough to do without doing your work also.”

“He is, technically, my subordinate.”

“Napoleon!”

“Fine,” Solo relented. “I agree. Now, who wants to go dancing tonight?”
