So we're heading into a major heat wave here. Today mid 90's but with the humidity it may break 100 degrees.  Same predicted for the rest of the week. So if you're in a heat wave (or a cold wave) where ever you are. Stay comfy and safe.

Writer's Choice is here again. For those of you not familiar with it...it's an opportunity for you to rec. your own fanfiction works every Saturday. We see stories being recommended all the time which is great, but there's those whose MFU fics never seem to make the cut and get those recs.

So you can pat yourself on the back and post a link to a story written by you, or a link to one written by your favorite author.  Always nice to have something to read when stories don't post here to Section VII over the weekend.

He had no idea how long he’d been walking. The unmerciful glare of the scorching sun and the rippling desert sands gave him no sense of direction.

Supposing as the sun moved across the sky, he’d eventually be able to at least tell east from west; though from the looks of it, that wouldn’t be for many hours. With no landmarks to guide him, he was hopelessly lost.
